The JVA MB1.5 mains/battery Electric Fence Energiser can be powered from 240Vac mains, or a 12V battery. This unit is suitable for small to moderate size permanent electric fences. At 1.5 Joules (peak output energy), it is powerful enough for farms of up to approximately 50 acres*.

* The actual acres or kilometers of fence powered by this Energiser depends on your farm fence conditions and therefore varies greatly. The best method to compare energizers is to compare their output energy, in Joules.

**For connection from the Energiser live terminal to the fence you will need a suitable high voltage cable (not included).
